Why? Well, for over 16 years, we’d been producing very special work - for very special, very loyal clients. (Some pretty impressive ones too!) We’d developed proprietary tools and processes. And we’d learned something very important about the experience received both by the people who use our solutions, and by the clients who partner with us to create them. And our old name and identity just didn’t begin to capture all that.

So we got together as a team and worked long and hard to come up with a name that did capture it. But working long and hard didn’t do it either. So we decided to get a bit whimsical. Oftentimes, the best solutions come from inspiration AND long, hard work! We applied the creativity, patience and persistence that we use in developing our courses into redefining who we are. And putting Interactive and Alchemy together somehow seemed to work!

“Interactive” seemed appropriate because our solutions are truly interactive. We put a lot of effort into understanding who we’re communicating to, why, and what they’ll respond to. And most people don’t respond well to courses that are really nothing more than electronic books or courses that are overloaded with too many examples of our incredible computer design talents.

“Alchemy” came out of the blue. We were talking about the magic involved in taking subject matter that’s often… well… boring and turning into something that changes people. Changes how they think, how they do things, their job performance, or even how they feel about things. Now that’s magic! And that magical transformation is what each and every one of us at Interactive Alchemy lives for. Seriously!
